This 2007 design depicts a kookaburra standing on a tree branch that is partly submerged in water. The bird is gilded in 24 carat gold. The coin has been struck by The Perth Mint in 99.9% Silver.
A gold plated pin featuring a kookaburra design theme accompanies the coin.
This is a really beautiful coin, much better IRL than the photo.
