Description
The Canadian Maple Leaf is a bullion coin released annually by Royal Canadian Mint. This version in which the maple is shot silver and deep blue, with a background of sky, snow and holly, is a Happy New Year coin. The Obverse is also coloured with sky, snow and holly.
These enobled ( colourised ) coins are extremely hard to find and they always have very limited mintages.
This coin is no longer legal tender, because it is an altered version of the original “legal tender”, enhanced by a private mint that is in no way affiliated with Royal Canadian Mint.
