The Perth Mint is proud to present this exclusive Australian Kookaburra as its 2022 Perth Money Expo ANDA Special. Struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The coin portrays image of a kookaburra perched on an ornamental bird bath among Agapanthus, flowering plants regularly seen in Australian gardens.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 2,000 of the Australian Kookaburra 2022 1oz Silver Numbat Privy Mark Coin in Perth Money Expo ANDA special packaging.

DESIGN
The coin’s reverse portrays an image of a kookaburra perched on an ornamental bird bath among Agapanthus, flowering plants regularly seen in Australian gardens. The design includes a coloured privy mark representation of a Numbat – a small, termite-eating marsupial that was proclaimed Western Australia’s official animal emblem in 1973. The reverse also incorporates the inscription ‘KOOKABURRA’, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the coin’s weight, purity and 2022 year-date.
The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the coin’s monetary denomination.
PRESENTATION
The coin is presented in a coloured presentation card which incorporates a fold-out stand for upright display.
