Produced exclusively for the forthcoming 2020 Perth ANDA Money Expo, this stunning silver coin reprises a much-admired design from the 2008 Australian Lunar Coin Series II. Struck in the previously unavailable 2oz format, the extremely limited coin show special portrays a beguiling coloured portrait of two mice among pumpkins.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 2oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 500 of the 2020 Year of the Mouse 2oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin.

The Australasian Numismatic Dealer’s Association Incorporation (ANDA) is the professional body representing individuals and businesses that deal in coins and banknotes throughout Australasia.

DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured image of two mice on a bed of straw with pumpkins and a vine in the background. As well as the inscription ‘Year of the Mouse’ and the Chinese character for ‘mouse’, the design also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2020 year-date, the weight and fineness, and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse.

PRESENTATION
Accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, the coin is housed in a display case and themed shipper featuring the ANDA logo alongside the dates of the Perth Money Expo.
