2020 Stamp and Coin Cover - Tom and Jerry
The Perth Mint and Australia Post are pleased to present this Tom and Jerry stamp and coin cover.
Issued as Tuvalu legal tender, the uncirculated base metal coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.
DESIGN
The coin’s reverse design features a coloured image of JERRY the Mouse in traditional Chinese clothing with stylised flowers and leaves in the background along with Chinese symbols 如 意 吉 祥 which means ‘Best Wishes’. The design also includes the trademark ‘TM & WBEI (s20)’, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2020 year-date and the monetary denomination are depicted on the coin’s obverse.
OFFICIAL AUSTRALIA POST STAMP
Affixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $1.10 stamp. The stamp is postmarked for the first day of issue and the envelope includes Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity.
