2020 Mother and Baby 2oz Silver Piedfort Bullion Coin
Struck by The Perth Mint from 2oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and has a mintage of 75,000.
DESIGN
The coin's reverse depicts a kookaburra with its chick standing on a branch. The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark and radial lines are also included in the design.
The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2020 year-date, the weight and purity, and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse.
PRESENTATION
The Mother & Baby 2020 2oz Silver Bullion Piedfort Coin is presented inside a protective clear plastic pouch (without capsule).
AUTHENTICATION FEATURE
Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
