As the first international city to greet the New Year, Sydney’s spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks are watched by over a million people around Sydney Harbour and broadcast to over a billion people worldwide.

In 2012, the Royal Australian Mint began collaborating with the City of Sydney on a coin program featuring Sydney’s world renowned NYE celebrations.
