HISTORY AND SIGNIFICANCE
The alphabet is reminiscent of childhood, laughter and learning. Depicting some of Australia’s most beloved animals and inspired by our ABCs, these fine silver frosted uncirculated coins are beautifully crafted by Mint coin designer and illustrator, Bronwyn King.
Each coin in the Alphabet Collection features a quintessentially Australian animal whose name begins with the letter. Intricate hidden objects cleverly incorporated into the design are detectable with a magnifier, making each coin a playful example of art and discovery.
