1995 50c PNC - Australia Remembers - Weary Dunlop
This "Australia Remembers : 1945 - 1995" PNC (Postal & Numismatic cover) Issued in 1995 features the much loved Australian hero, Weary Dunlop. Lieutenant Colonel Sir Edward "Weary" Dunlop (12 July 1907 – 2 July 1993) was an Australian surgeon who was renowned for his leadership while being held prisoner by the Japanese during World War II.
This cover features the .45c Weary Dunlop stamp and is postmarked on the first day of issue 20-4-1995. It also features the .50c uncirculated Weary Dunlop coin.
PLEASE NOTE: PNC's are in good shape, with just the corners showing signs of wear.
