1989 Royal Australian Mint Eight Coin Mint Set

Australia. The earth's largest and perhaps oldest island.
This eight coin set pays tribute to some of Australia's original inhabitants.
The feather tail glider curls up the one cent coin.
The frill necked lizard resides on two cent coin. The five cent coin in the home of the spiny ant eater. The 10c and 20c more unique Australians, the ladybird and the platypus.
Australia's crest on the 50c coin features the emu and the kangaroo. A jumping kangaroo is also depicted on the one dollar coin.
The $2 coin complements the set with a portrait of Australia's earliest human inhabitant, the aborigine.
