The Perth Mint and Australia Post are pleased to present this 2022 Happy Birthday stamp and coin cover.

Celebrating a loved one’s birthday is a wonderful way to let them know how much they mean to you. Heartfelt birthday wishes can liven up a person’s day, no matter how young or old they are.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.

DESIGN

The coin's reverse design depicts a coloured composition featuring four gift wrapped boxes, a birthday cake and party confetti in colour. The design also includes the inscription ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2022 year-date and the monetary denomination are depicted on the coin’s obverse.

OFFICIAL AUSTRALIA POST STAMP

Affixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $1.10 stamp. The stamp is postmarked for the first day of issue and the envelope includes Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity.
