Royal Australian Mint Lest We Forget Eternal Flame Coloured $2 UNC coin 2018

The Royal Australian Mint continues its tradition of releasing coloured $2 coins into circulation during the Anzac Centenary period to commemorate the 102 000 Australians who have died in war and other operations since 1885. This striking and evocative design is inspired by the eternal flame at the Australian War Memorial, which symbolises remembrance and sacrifice. Coin’s obverse features an artistic depiction of an aerial view of the Australian War Memorial’s Eternal Flame Released to coincide with Anzac Day 2018 Coin’s obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley.
