In 1975, Holden introduced the Gemini - a small car with big impact. Built on GM's world car platform, it was tough, stylish & perfectly suited to Australian Roads.
The TX Gemini, launched in February 1975, assembled in Acacia Ridge, QLD. and featured a responisve 1.6L SOHC engine, rear wheel drive and a clean modern styling.
The Gemini didn't stop at the curb - it proved itself on the Track, too. In the late 1970'2 it dominated its class at Bathurst, earning a reputation as a serious competitor thanks to its agility, durability & racing spirit.
Fifty Years on, the Gemini remains a beloved classic. Whether spotted at a car show or still running on Aussie streets, it continues to represent an era of simplicity, freedom and local pride.
