The Canadian Maple Leaf is a bullion coin released annually by Royal Canadian Mint. Sunset is an adaptation of this coin, in which Yellow Gold and Metallic Colors are used to highlight coin’s background. The metallic colors used on the obverse are giving the effect of a setting sun. This effect and the gold background on the reverse emphasize the image of the Maple leaf and the Queen, and the coin gains a new, expressive appearance.
This edition is limited to 500 pieces. Coins are marked on the relief with an individual, engraved number.
The package includes the coin in a Quadrum capsule and personalized sleeve with matching design and detailed coin specification.
This coin is no longer legal tender, because it is an altered version of the original “legal tender”, enhanced by a private mint, that is in no way affiliated with the official issue of the Royal Canadian Mint.
