2022 $5 Silver Proof Coin - Bicentenary of the Royal Agricultural Societies and Shows
Commemorating 200 years since Australia’s first Royal Agricultural Societies were established in Tasmania and New South Wales and the first agricultural show was held in 1822, the Royal Australian Mint is releasing two specially designed coins to mark the anniversary.
These releases recognise the contributions of Australia's eight state and territory Royal Agricultural Societies, the agricultural shows that run each year and the many dedicated volunteers who contribute to these iconic community events.
