2021 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin - Baby Ox 

This adorable coin celebrates the Year of the Ox and is the perfect gift for any baby born in 2021.

Those born under  the sign of the Chinese lunar  ox in 2021, 2009, 1997, 1985,  1973 and every 12th preceding year are said to be kind, intelligent, honest and reliable.

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 7,150 of the Baby Ox 2021 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin in this packaging from a maximum mintage of 7,500.

DESIGN

The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured representation of a baby ox astride a gift box. The Chinese character for ‘ox’, the inscription ‘Year of the ox’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated into the design.

The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley  effigy  of  Her  Majesty Queen  Elizabeth  II,  the  2021year-date,weight  and  fineness,  and  the monetary denomination.

PRESENTATION

The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Packaged with an illustrated shipper, each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
