2020 $1 1oz Silver Bullion Coin - Double Pixiu

The Pixiu is a mythological creature with the head of a dragon and the body of a lion. With an insatiable appetite for gold, silver and jewels, its mystical powers are believed to help people attract wealth from all directions. The Pixiu is a popular motif in Chinese art and architecture, where it is traditionally portrayed in pairs.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. Also included on the obverse are the coin’s weight, purity, denomination and 2020 year-date.

This coin has a maximum mintage of 50,000.
