2019 $1 AlBr Uncirculated Coin - Centenary of the Treaty of Versailles

On 28 June 1919, the signing of the Treaty of Versailles effectively ended the First World War. Australia’s role as a signatory to the Treaty recognised its full national status as the Commonwealth of Australia. The Royal Australian Mint is proud to present this historic coin inspired by the 1919 Peace Medal – Triumph of Liberty & Justice, which was presented to Australian schoolchildren to mark the end of the First World War.
