2014 $1 Uncirculated Coin Year of the Horse - Lunar Series
Since 2007 the Royal Australian Mint has celebrated each Lunar Year by releasing coins depicting each animal of the Chinese Zodiac Calendar.
In 2014, we acknowledge those born under the sign of the Horse. Exciting and extroverted, vivid and animated, people born in the year of the horse are said to be bursting with energy – the life of any party they attend. The coins will be struck in aluminium bronze, fine silver, and 1/10 oz gold – and will serve as either a valuable addition to the Lunar collector, or a precious stand-alone keepsake.
