1999 Royal Australian Mint Six Coin Mint Set

The $1 coin featured in this set was struck to mark the United Nations' designation of 1999 as the International Year of Older Persons. The reverse was designed by Woiciech Pietranik. The reverses of the 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c and $2 coins were created by Stuard Devlin. This is the first Six Coin Set to feature, on the obverse, the new effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
