Another fantastic collectible is the uncirculated $1 coin that features the ‘C’ to indicate that it was minted in Canberra.
75th Anniversary of the Sydney Harbour Bridge
The 2007 $1 mintmark coin celebrates the 75th anniversary of one of Australia’s most recognisable and iconic landmarks – the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Sydney Harbour Bridge was officially opened on the 19th March 1932. It is considered the world's greatest steel arch bridge and reaches 134 metres above mean sea level. The bridge contains 52,800 tonnes of steel in the arch and approach spans.
Construction of the bridge took place at both ends. This commemorative $1 uncirculated coin depicts the moment in 1330, when the two halves of the arch were joined.
Please note: Presentation card has been folded and coins are toned.
