A stunning coloured image of the 1932 Bickle Chieftain Triple Combination Fire Engine is depicted on the reverse of this 2005-dated 1oz coin struck by The Perth Mint from 99.9% pure silver. Built in Ontario, Canada by the Bickle company, the Chieftain was a triple combination pumping engine equipped with a fire pump, water tank, hose and ladders. The Perth Mint will release just 5,000 individual coins. The reverse depicts a 1932 Bickle Triple Combination Pumper in colour. The fire engine is portrayed inside a stylised fire hose and the words FIRE ENGINES OF THE WORLD. Each coin is housed in an eye-catching red presentation case accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Each case comes within a shipper depicting a coloured image of the fire engine.
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of the Cook Islands, the coin depicts Raphael Maklouf’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
